ACCSES NJ: Quality Control Inspector/Trainer position – Janitorial/Custodial Services Department

Full Time

ACCSES NJ, a not for profit organization, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/Trainer for its Janitorial Services Division.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Perform on-site quality control inspections daily
  • Maintain schedule to include all sites on a monthly, semi-annual or annual basis as required
  • Use industry standard inspection software to record inspections and calculate score
  • Provide guidance to crews and management to help improve quality and productivity and to ensure maintenance of industry standard green cleaning
  • Follow protocol for inspections and re-inspections per ACCSES NJ guidelines developed from ISSA standards
  • Work with members and customers to create a positive collaborative environment
  • Help develop training materials
  • Provide training to crews and management
  • Attend meetings scheduled by ACCSES NJ management and with participating members to keep current on janitorial best practices and to review issues pertaining to site obligations
  • Help schedule and attend quarterly meetings with State officials reviewing all stakeholder procedures, issues and special project needs
  • Job requires daytime and nighttime visits and some weekends
  • Write quotes for janitorial services according to ACCSES NJ and ISSA standards
  • Provide weekly reports and as requested
  • May at times provide janitorial services and/or supervision in emergency situations

Job Requirements

  • Have a background in janitorial services, with management experience
  • Have reliable transportation to visit and inspect different sites across the State of New Jersey with a concentration in the Northern region
  • Have passion to work with people with disabilities
  • Have experience instructing and showing proper cleaning methods according to ISSA standards
  • Have experience developing relationships working collaboratively with management teams
  • Understand how to inspect and do estimates for quotes when needed for new and existing accounts
  • Have a flexible schedule to provide service as needed, including scheduled nights and weekends and in emergency situations or to address special needs of customers
  • Must be able to work independently, write reports on special projects or daily work and be available to travel when needed to different parts of the State of New Jersey to handle or assist in project work
  • CITS Certification is preferred
  • Driving and personal vehicle is required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
