Job Description

ACCSES NJ is seeking a professional, organized, reliable, motivated and detail-oriented Statewide Account Manager for the Records Management, Board Meeting Services and Call Center sales. Ideal candidates are energetic, ambitious and goal-oriented. We are looking for a motivated person to provide sales support to our customers. You will be assisting our management team and association members with developing sales, communicating with customers to determine their needs, and conducting research to identify new sales leads. The candidate will already have a book of business to manage after their 90 day transition period.

To ensure success as an account manager, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of customer relationship management. An outstanding account manager will be someone whose customer-oriented initiatives contribute to optimized sales department performance. The candidate will follow our mission to provide leadership and support to our association members for any of their needs.

Job Responsibilities

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Cold Calling on prospective clients
  • Records Management Service Bureau operations knowledge is a must
  • Knowledge of Government Retention Periods and the handling of documentation is a must
  • Providing ongoing account support to existing customers assigned by the sales team.
  • Informing new and existing customers of promotions, upgraded product lines, and offers.
  • Notifying customers of unforeseen delivery delays or other complications and facilitating suitable interventions.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify new sales leads and develop sales plans.
  • Reporting to sales managers as required.
  • Conducting sales research and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Documenting processes and maintaining sales department records.
  • Gathering information on assigned clients (e.g. company size, needs and pricing plans)
  • Contacting clients to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan
  • Providing after-sales support to retain customers
  • A winning attitude and a proven trend of personal growth and performance over time

  • Must be able to digest our catalog offering and services in order to solutions base sell
  • Must be able to price out jobs for proposals

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Lead generation or Field Marketing experience preferred but not required
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work with a CRM
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds or make a delivery to a client when necessary
